Hi, my name is Richard Uncapher (Rick) and I'm currently a User Interface Designer living and working in Chicago, IL. I have 6+ years of user-centered design experience, mainly focused on internal buisness applications.
My current position is responsible for the visual design and usability of client-facing applications, prototype development, and the quality of the overall client experience. As a freelancer, I've also had the opportunity to design CD and vinyl packaging for many independent record labels.
I am harworking, resourceful, an excellent problem-solver, and very easy to work with. I appreciate clean, simple design and hope that shows through my work.
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I headed west to attend college at Purdue University. After graduating with a BA in Communications, I moved to Chicago where I have been ever since. I'm also a music junkie, a bass guitarist, a snowboarder, and a big Steeler fan.
